Adamandi

Adamandi is a musical by Melliot (pair of writers). It is set in the 1930s(?), and focuses on three queer students of color compeating for an award. The pursuit of this award drives them to darker and darker actions. This musical is not for the weak of heart. I can only watch it when I am doing well, as the themes are difficult for me at times. The musical features themes of self-harm, murder, academic obssesion, suicide, mental illness, co-dependency, raceism, homophobia, religious trauma, classism, etc. It is a very good musical. I cannot express my adimration and love for this musical in a small paragraph. It is avalible to watch free on YoutTube.

Favorite of the Main Three: Vincent

It is hard to pick my favorite of the main three seniors. I relate to parts of each of their stories. Obviously, you do not have to relate to a character to like them, so I love each of them regardless of how much I relate to them. However, Vincent is probably my favorite. I want to avoid spoilers, so I will not give much detail as to why.

Favorite Side Character: Ambrose

I use the term,"side character", but I am not sure that term is the most fitting for his level of importance. I use the term as a shorter way of saying, "not one of the main three seniors". I would also put Portia in this weird in-between area.
